Motorcycle Awareness & Memorial Event
in Honour of Billy Heeney
Each year the number of motorcycle deaths seems to grow, and a lot of the time, its not the rider's fault. As someone who has been around bikes most of my lift, and knows first hand what that phone call feels like, more people need to be educated of motorcycle awareness - one shared tip might be the difference between someone's best day, and someone's worst. The Heeney family created this amazing event in his memory. I was honoured to capture their inaugural year, and can't wait to share photos from year two. Billy would be SO proud of his kids for organizing such an amazing event, which also raises money for SickKids Foundation - a cause near to Billy's heart.
